He has been practicing T'ai ;Chi and Chi Kung or over forty years under various teachers, but his most crucial and vital training was from 1995 to the present under the gifted and renowned Master Wei Lun Huang from China. Under the auspices of Master Huang, Roger studied T'ai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Sword Form, Ba Gua, Liu He Ba Fa, and Hsing Yi. Roger describes Tai Chi as "an art in which you connect onto the cosmic force - ki, chi, prana - in a profound and infinite way." At the age of 12, Roger studied philosophy and began his lifetime spiritual search for connecting with the divine through many different approaches: Sufi, Tantra, Zen Buddhism, Kabalah, Hindu/Yoga, I-Ching, Taoism, Alice Bailey, Gurdjieff/ Ouspensky, Shree Rajneesh, Krishnamurti, Master Morya, and the list goes on! He studied/practiced under such great masters as B.K.S. Iyengar, Murshid Samuel Lewis, Pir Villiat Khan, Roshi Eido Shimano, and Roshi Halifax. In the 1970's he became founder and co-director of a meditation community in which he welcomed practices from Buddhist, Taoist, Sufi, Jewish, Christian and Hindu traditions. Roger's diverse esoteric pursuits enrich his practice of T'ai Chi and Chi Kung. His sense of humor and open heart endear him to students of all ages and levels.

"It is easy to talk about the spiritual path. To truly BE the spiritual path is something else Yes, words can be inspiring. And then the next day you have a headache. Words are easy. Be quiet. Do your practice. My practice continues to deepen. The T'ai Chi and Taoist principles have moved from my mind into every cell of my body, into my being." Sifu Roger Sencer

Linda Mandelbaum

Linda is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, partnering her degree in education, life experiences, and passion for health and wellness by becoming a Board Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist. Having gone through her own personal transformations, and embracing healthier living while witnessing the harsh effects that poor eating habits have held on her own family she came to know that she needed to be a part of the change to help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives. While open to working with anyone who wants to create positive change in their lives, she specializes in working with women who are struggling with weight issues and emotional eating and youth who want to learn about healthier eating habits and how their food influences their mood, energy, study habits, and more.
